דלתות ארון הקודש - THE DOORS OF THE TORAH ARON
דלתות ארון הקודש שלנו הובאו ע״י ש״א נכון ז״ל מבית כנסת בעיר ליבורנו שבחבל טוסקנה במרכז איטליה.
הקהילה היהודית בליבורנו נוסדה בשנת 1595 ומתקיימת עד ימינו.
דלתות העץ של ארון הקודש משנת 1874 והן עשויות תבליט עץ אומנותי.
אדריכל דוד קאסוטו חבר קהילתנו שילב את הדלתות בארון קודש מודרמי.
The doors of the Torah Aron were brought by Mr. S. A. Nachon Z"l from an old synagogue in the town of Livorno, in the region of Toscana, Italy.
The Jewish Community there was established in 1595 and is still florishing.
The doors are from 1874, and were carved from wood.
Architect David Cassuto, a member of our community, had them incorporated into our modern Torah Aron.

המחיצה של עזרת הנשים הובאה ע״י רינאטו מנשי ז״ל מבית כנסת בעיר פזארו, השוכנת לחוף הים האדריאתי, במרכז איטליה.
קהילה יהודית התקיימה בפזארו במשך 750 שנה.
המעקה המקורי נוצר בשנת 1700 ועשוי מחיתוך עץ אומנותי (חלק מהמחיצה הנו שחזור העשוי מסגסוגת אלומיניום).
The partitions of the ladies Galeries were brought by Mr. Rinato Manshi Z"l from an old synagogue in the town of Pesaro, a city in the Italian region of Marche, capital of the Province of Pesaro e Urbino on the Adriatic Sea in the centre of Italy.
There was a Jewish comminity in Pesaro for about 750 years.
The original partition was carved from wood in 1700. Part of the current partition is crafted from aluminium alloy, and made to precisely match the original wood.
